Models A & B

Models A & B Pulling Grips are manufactured of Hi-Fatigue plastic coated Aircraft Strand Steel cable in various weave designs. Recommended wherever high strength and small size are required. Patented pulling eye is flexible and stress relieving.
 

Model AAA — Single or Double Weave, 1/4" - 1/2"

Model AA — Single, Double or Triple Weave,  1/2" - 3/4"

Model A — Single, Double or Triple Weave, 3/4" - 1 1/4"

 Model B — Triple Weave, 1-1/4" to 2"

Models C, D, E, & F

Models C, D, E and F are heavy duty grips manufactured of Hi-Fatigue plastic coated Aircraft Strand steel cable in a continuous weave process. Plastic coated strands increase the life of the grip, provide a bearing surface on underground pulls and increase the ease and safety of installation and removal for workmen. Patented pulling eye is flexible and stress relieving.
 

Model C — Triple Weave, 2" to 2 3/4"

Models G, H, I, J & K are heavy duty grips manufactured of Hi-Fatigue plastic coated Aircraft Strand steel cable in a continuous quad weave process. Plastic coated strands increase the life of the grip, provide a bearing surface on underground pulls and increase the ease and safety of installation and removal for workmen. Patented pulling eye is flexible and stress relieving.

Model G — Quad Weave, 4 7/8" - 5 1/2"

Pulling Grips
Model OH, R, & WRC

Model OH

Model OHPulling Grips, designed for the special demands of overhead stringing crews, has a basket constructed of triple woven nylon coated Aircraft Strand for maximum abrasive resistance. It has special tough plastic boots at eye-end to prevent abrasion between the conductor and pulling dollies. A steel thimble is manufactured into the eye, and is furnished without swivel or steel thimble upon request. It is easily adaptable to Lewis ball bearing swivels. Uncoated wire gives approximately 20% more strength. Please specify when ordering.

Model R

Model R is basically the same grip in size and basket construction as the Model OH; however, it is somewhat shorter. This grip is employed in pulling all types of rope

Model WRC

Model WRC is primarily a high tension, overhead transmission line-stringing grip. This series can be used for both Wire and Rope pulling. The WRC series incorporates a low-profile with protective aluminum shoulders and high strength, enabling the user to pull through the narrowest of clearances with no hang-ups. Always make a complete inspection of any grip before use. Immediately discard grip if any wires are frayed or broken and/or there is distorted or damaged hardware.

Split Pulling Grips Rod & Lace Closing

Lewis Rod (LSR) and Lace (LSL) Closing Split Grips are designed for all phases of suspension or pulling, where neither end of the conductor is available and "middle of the run" application of the grip is desired. Head variations are "DLE" (Dual Lift Eye, pictured), "SE" or "U". Please specify head desired. Working loads, as listed in the table below, are maximum holding power for the smallest conductor in each size range.
